In Loving Memory of Noel Quinto

It is with profound sorrow and a deep sense of loss we announce the recent passing away of our dear friend and esteemed colleague, Mr. Noel Quinto, who departed from this world on 8 March 2025. Noel was not merely a member of APN+, he was a guiding light and an inspiring force within the community of people living with HIV. Noel was also not just a valued friend, he embodied the spirit of our mission, making a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals and communities through his unwavering dedication and tireless efforts. Noel joined APN+ Board as a country representative of Pinoy Plus, Phillipines when APN+ was in its infant stage, bringing a wealth of experience, compassion and enthusiasm for our cause. His commitment to fight for the rights of people living with HIV was unparalleled and the leadership quality he brought inspired all of us. Beyond his remarkable contributions to APN+, Noel was also known for his kindness, generosity, non-judemental and ability to connect with everyone he met.

Those who had the privilege of working alongside Noel knew him as a person who believed deeply in the power of community.  He often shared stories of the individuals and families whose lives have changed by the support of networks of people living with HIV, reminding us of the reasons we joined this work. He had a unique gift for bringing people together, fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity, where diverse voices could be heard and cherished.

As we reflect on Noel’s life and contributions, we ask everyone who knew him to spare few moments of their time to remember him. These remembrances will serve as a testament to the beauty and impact of his life. Whether through a big laugh, a cry, a lesson learned, or a moment of encouragement, each memory keeps his spirit alive in our hearts. To honor Noel’s legacy and the values he cherished, we encourage our community to engage in acts of kindness and service that reflect his commitment to helping others.

Our deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. As we say goodbye to Noel, let us remember his spirit of compassion, dedication, and love. May we strive to embody these qualities in our own lives, continuing his mission and honoring the legacy of a remarkable individual. Rest in peace, dear friend. Thank you for your service and the light you’ve brought into our lives. You will be forever missed and always cherished.
